1 Nenokkadine :
Sukumar has chosen an interesting story, which has not been explored many times in Tollywood. The film 1: Nenokkadine is all about a young guy, who is desperate to know his identity. Having lost his memory in an accident, he goes in search of his true self. The director seems to have drawn inspiration from a Hollywood film The Bourne Identity. Though its storyline is simple, the director has included lot of twists and turns in the narration, which makes the audience glued to screens throughout the film.
Not many directors dare to include commercial elements in a psychological thriller, but Sukumar has done it very nicely without harming the tempo of 1: Nenokkadine. Since it is a big-budget movie, he has balanced the content and commercial viability of the film. He has embedded it with plenty of intense action and excellent emotional sequences in the movie. His screenplay will give you new experience.
1 Nenokkadine Movie Story:
Mahesh Babu is a rock star with fans worldwide. But he does not remember anything. He forgets things immediately. He feels like he did something but he does not do anything. He thinks he did not do anything but he does something.
Mahesh will be attacked by a gang. Mahesh escapes from them when they tried to kill him. Later Mahesh will follow the vilan and kills him. This video will be shot in cam by TV reporter Shruti, who is the heroine of the film. Heroine Shruti is a TV channel reporter. But Shruti will not see anyone except Mahesh in the video when played again. This is the first shock Sukumar gives his audience.
After that incident Mahesh could not concentrate on music and every one looks at him like a lost man. Mahesh will move to Goa. Then heroine starts being back of the hero. Another gang follows him in Goa also and attacks him in an attempt to kill. The murder attempt fails and Mahesh will escape from the threat. This time also Mahesh will kill the Vilan. This is the second time Sukumar gives again a twist to audience. It would be excited to watch the suspense twist on the screen than to know it here. Audience have to watch it on the screen and enjoy the thrill.
Suspense: The makers have managed to keep the plot of the movie under wraps. Neither Mahesh nor anyone connected with the film have revealed anything to the public. So for once, It would be a treat to watch a movie without knowing its content.
Action sequences: The movie is said to be high on high-actane chase scenes that is sure to keep viewers at the edge of their seats.
Mahesh’s role: Grapevine has it that Mahesh plays a double role in the film, one of which is that of a rockstar. So it would be nice to watch the hunk in a new avatar.
Mahesh’s toned body: For the first time in his career, superstar Mahesh Babu will bare his body to expose his six-pack abs. For all the girls who go weak in the knees only looking at his charming looks, wonder what happens now.

Sukumar should be commended for brilliant characterization in 1: Nenokkadine. Mahesh Babu appears in two different getups and he impresses the viewers in both shades. He has delivered wonderful performance in action, dance and sentimental scenes. Newbie Kriti Sanon does not have much scope for performance, but she manages to steal show with her glam quotient.
As usual, talented artistes Nassar, Anu Hasan, Sayaji Shinde, Pradeep Rawat, Kelly Dorji, Vikram Singh, Posani Krishna Murali, Srinivasa Reddy, Anand and Supreet Reddy have delivered their best. Mahesh Babu’s Gautham Krishna, who enters films as child artiste, will also win the heart of the film goers.

7. The production values of 1: Nenokkadine are on par with Hollywood standards and Ratnavelu’s cinematography is main attraction in the technical from. Devi Sri Prasad’s music and background score are also among the big strength of the film. Though all his songs are good to listen, a couple of them have been misplaced. International stunt coordinator Conrad Palmisano’s stunts and chase scenes are also one of the main highlights of the film. Other technical departments have also done commendable job. Karthika Srinivas’ editing is also good, but he could have trimmed a few scenes in the second half.
Overall, 1 Nenokkadine Talk: Nenokkadine is a wonderful psychological thriller, which will appeal to all classes of audience. The movie has Mahesh Babu’s excellent performance, Sukumar brilliant direction, amazing technical stuff.
