We have read a lot of interview of Siddharth where one could find 'remakes' aren't his cup of tea. For the first time ever, our chocolate hero broke his promise.
As per the surces, Siddharth signed the Telugu-Tamil remake of Kannada hit Lucia. Siddarth tweeted, "Lucia really affected me when I saw it. The original director Pawan Kumar deserves all the praise coming his way. Hope we do justice. Young & talented team. Wish us luck," the actor appeals.
Prasad Ramar is making his debut as director. CV Kumar who produced films like Pizza and Villa will be producing it. Principle shooting begins from January 2013.
Lucia is critically acclaimed and commercially successful film. Hope, the remake recreates the magic yet again.
