Dhoom 3 1st Week Collections

Noted film critic and analyst Adarsh tweeted: So here’s *Fri to Mon* total of #Dhoom3… India ₹ 129.32 cr + Overseas ₹ 73.17 cr. Worldwide total: ₹ 202.49 cr. MIND-BOGGLING!
Adarsh also expects Dhoom 3′s India business to cross Rs 200 crore nett by Friday/Saturday (all languages).
Dhoom 3, third offering from the ‘Dhoom’ franchise, has also become the top opening weekend grossers in the United States. Opening weekend collection in US for Dhoom 3 amounted to $3,880,000. Previously, Chennai Express had collected $2,416,513 in opening weekend ($5,306,729 overall).
Dhoom 3 has also set new benchmarks in New Zealand, becoming the highest grosser ever there. It is also on its way to dethrone ’3 Idiots’ as no 1 in Australia. The movie has collected A$ 1,125,010 so far.
Indicating that Aamir Khan still has his finger on the pulse of the film-going public, his bikes and babes thriller Dhoom 3 had collected Rs 100 crore in just three days, leaving behind Krrish 3, which managed the sum in 4 days.
Dhoom 3 was directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and stars Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Katrina Kaif – it was released on Friday.
