Venkatadri Express starring Sundeep Kishan and Rakul Preet Singh opened to positive word of mouth at the Box Office and has been declared as a smash hit.
Interestingly, Allu Arjun saw the film and heaped praises on the entertainer. "Just had Allu Arjun call and say he loved Venkatadri Express & that this is the most he has laughed in a long time. His Arya inspired me to become a hero. So it was a moment of pride when he had such nice things to say about Venkatadri Express , thank you Anna," he reveals.
Merlapaka Gandhi's gripping screenplay and impressive writing has done the trick for Venkatadri Express. Ramana Gogula's music and Chota K Naidu's cinematography are the other biggest assets for the movie. Venkatadri Express is the only hit in Tollywood post 'Atharintiki Daredi'.
